About this shilajit

Himdhara Shilajit Gold Resin is Himalayan shilajit purified with triphala and blended with five traditional Ayurvedic ingredients: Ashwagandha, Safed Musli, Shatavari, Gokhru and Aurum (gold ash). It comes as a soft resin in a 20 g jar, with a gold-toned spoon to measure it.

The raw shilajit is purified (shodhit) with triphala, the classic mix of amla, harad and baheda, before the herbs and gold ash are blended in. Every batch is tested for its fulvic acid content and for the four heavy metals that matter most with shilajit: lead, arsenic, mercury and cadmium.

How to take it

Scoop a pea-sized portion (about 250 mg) with the spoon provided, dissolve it in lukewarm water, milk or green tea, and drink it after a meal, twice a day. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, on any medication or managing a health condition, ask your doctor before taking it.

How to take and store it

Scoop a pea-sized portion, about 250 mg, with the spoon in the box. Dissolve it in lukewarm water, milk or green tea and drink it after a meal, twice a day.

  • Keep the jar closed, at room temperature, away from direct sun.
  • It softens in heat and hardens in cold. Both are normal for a resin.
  • Use only the dry spoon; moisture is what spoils it.
  • Batch 2658 is best before August 2029.

If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, on any medication or managing a health condition, ask your doctor before taking it.

The method

How Shilajit Gold Resin is made

Raw Himalayan shilajit is purified with triphala (amla, harad and baheda), the classical Ayurvedic shodhana method, then blended with Ashwagandha, Safed Musli, Shatavari, Gokhru and gold ash. Every batch is tested for fulvic acid and heavy metals before it is sold.

Questions about this

How is this different from plain shilajit resin or capsules?

Plain resin is shilajit on its own. This is shilajit purified with triphala and blended with Ashwagandha, Safed Musli, Shatavari, Gokhru and gold ash, so it is a formulation, and the label and the batch certificate list every ingredient. Most capsules hold a dried extract mixed with a carrier, which is why the milligram figure on their label says little about what you are taking.

How do I take it?

A pea-sized portion, about 250 mg, measured with the spoon in the box. Dissolve it in lukewarm water, milk or green tea and drink it after a meal, twice a day. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, on any medication or managing a health condition, ask your doctor first.

Is it tested for heavy metals?

Yes, every batch, because shilajit comes out of rock and heavy metals are the real risk with it. Batch 2658 was tested for lead, arsenic, mercury and cadmium and passed the Ayurvedic Pharmacopoeia of India limits; its fulvic acid content was 76.5%, against a specification of more than 60%. The certificate of analysis, issued by the manufacturer, Sukhayubhava Pharmaceutical, is on the lab reports page.
